Lane Street Medical Centre is a purpose built family general practice that offers Bulk Billing Services. It has 4 consulting rooms, a treatment room and a pathology collection room. The medical centre is located 300 meters to the Wentworthville railway station. When it is fully operational, it will have 4 full time doctors including a female doctor. The Centre serves a population of diverse ethnic background.

The centre aims to provide high quality general practice services to meet the needs of patients with a committed, dedicated and competent staff. The practice offers services that meet the needs of patients of all cultural backgrounds. The environment within the medical practice is user friendly and the staff work in a team environment.

Immunisations

Lane St. Medical Centre currently offers child immunisations particularly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. A dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse is available on the above mentioned days to offer immunisations for children. If your family needs immunisation on days other than those mentioned above, please talk to the receptionist.

In addition, the centre offers immunisation advice to employees in the health sector, travel vaccinations and adult vaccinations.

Child Health Checks

Lane Street medical Centre offers comprehensive health checks for children of all the ages. For children aged 4, they offer The Healthy Kids Check Program. This Government subsidised program includes health indicators for your child such as height, weight, physical, psychological, nutritional development. The Healthy Kids Check can be done at the time the child receives their 4-year old immunisation or thereafter. In addition, the centre encourages families to book an appointment for health checks anytime if they have any concerns about their child’s health and development.

Skin cancer checks

Dr Madas is an experienced general practitioner in offering skin cancer checks and assessment of skin rashes, both in children and adults.

Teaching Practice

Dr. Madas is a recognised teacher and hosts Medical students from the University of Sydney and the University of Western Sydney as well as training International Medical Graduates interested in the field of General Practice.
