Cessnock Community Healthcare

Cessnock Community Healthcare is a purpose built family medical practice conveniently located adjacent to Cessnock Hospital emergency department.  The clinic opened in 2004 and is a registered not for profit organisation. 

We are a family orientated practice, committed to providing excellent healthcare care to our patients. We operate from at state of the art healthcare facility that combines modern decor with easy access and a comfortable large waiting area for patients. We hve modern air-conditioned premises with the latest technology to provide the best possible care to our local community.

Our waiting room has a comprehensive information section with brochures & posters, kids’ corner, baby change area and Mothers Nursing room.

Car parking spaces (including disabled parking) are available in front of the clinic. Additional parking is available in Foster Street, close to the clinic.

We operate on a model of care that aims to treat the whole patient.  General practitioners and nurses work in teams to provide all the services needed to keep you well from infancy to senior years. 

The clinic is also a training practice for general practice registrars and medical, nursing and allied health students. 

We have a strong focus on women’s health and patients with complex medical conditions.  We bulk bill all eligible services to Medicare. 

Our aim is to provide excellent, friendly professional medical services in a bright modern environment. At Cessnock Community Healthcare we welcome new patients.
