I am a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). In addition, I trained as a clinical hypnotherapist and I am a Professional Member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA). I work with children, adolescents and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fears and phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), sexual dysfunctions, grief and loss, anger, chronic pain and other issues. Also, I counsel couples who are looking for relationship counselling and advice. In my work I draw from various therapies, including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Emotion Focused Therapy (ETF) for Complex Trauma Clinical Hypnosis. I am a registered provider with Medicare, WorkSafe, DVA, TAC, VOCAT and many private health insurance funds. Medicare rebates are available for clients with a referral and a mental health treatment plan from a GP, or a referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician. Rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year are available, and your referring doctor will assess progress after the first 6 sessions.
