Vivienne was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Sydney. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of Sydney in 2006. As part of her post-graduate training, she worked in Nepean, Balmain, Canterbury and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. She has completed terms in general surgery and general medicine as well as psychiatry and paediatrics. After three years in the hospital system, she realised that general practice is the way forward – an opportunity to be involved with patients young and old, and to make a difference with preventative care and education. Vivienne spent 12 months in Moree where she worked in a private General Practice setting. In Moree, she was also responsible for manning the local hospital’s casualty department and care of inpatients. She worked as a GP in Leichhardt and Ryde prior to joining Miller St Medical Practices. Vivienne has special interests in all aspects of Family Medicine including acute and chronic conditions, psychological health, sexual health, women’s health and paediatrics. When she is not involved in clinical care, Vivienne enjoys cooking, travel, movies and spending time with family and friends.
